My name is James Morris and I'm from Stoke-on-Trent.
My favourite political quote is one from John Woodhouse who writes in North Staffordshire's local newspaper The Sentinel: "When people complain about today's youth not being interested in politics, you have to say 'who can blame them?' They are, after all, faced with a pitiful bunch of ultra-bland centrists forever desperate not to offend. Clegg, Cameron, and Milliband make the Blue Peter tortoise look controversial."
A girl in my 6th Form once asked the question: "What's a prime minister?" I write to make the point that some young people are actually engaged with politics as more should be and that young people should not be ignored by politicians. It's also because I just generally like moaning - as any true Brit understands.
