Hi, I'm basically a 17 year old commie who plays guitar.
I'm far left because in my opinion there should be more to your life than spending most of it working for someone so they can have more money than you. In my opinion freedom and equality are the two fundamental things which everyone deserves, and many people nowadays have neither. I think that nowadays lots of young people are put off politics due to it mainly being full of old and middle aged people, plus it’s always too formal and full of political talk to be appealing to most young people, and I'd like to see more efforts to include younger people into political parties, especially seen as we’ll be the ones who’ll end up dealing with the (many) mistakes of the current generation in charge.
I don’t support any political party at the minute and one day I want to start my own (Something like SYRIZA in Greece). If I do vote next year it’ll probably be for either Left Unity or the Socialist Party, though they’re too small to really have much of an effect anyway. Tbh as long as the Tories are kicked out next year I’ll be happy.
As well as being a commie, I also support various political movements across the world, including the Freedom of Palestine, Irish Republicanism, Catalan and Scottish independence, support of all social equality campaigns (for example equal marriage) and an end to all wars. Also, unlike most left wing people in the UK I'm anti EU, but still pro immigration.
That’s my basic views, feel free to ask if you want to know anything else. :)
